Dear Chengdu jurisdiction applicants：
- Non lucrative residence(RES).
- In the case of submitting information related to accounts or financial instruments abroad, such information must include:
- The name or complete denomination of the bank or credit institution, as well as and its domicile.
- The complete identification of the accounts
- The date of opening or cancellation or, if applicable, the dates of granting and revocation of the authorization.
- The balances of the accounts as of December 31 of the year prior to the submission of the application and the average balance corresponding to the last year.
- With regard to national visas, particularly non-lucrative residence visas (RES), the Consul General of Spain in Chengdu requires that a declaration of consent from one parent (notarized, apostilled, and translated into Spanish) include their agreement to the visa application, relocation to Spain, and registration for schooling in Spain. The specific content is as follows: (The father or mother) agrees that their son or daughter (name, date of birth, passport number) applies for a visa to go to Spain and reside there locally, register for studies, and live with his/her mother or father (name, date of birth, passport number).
For family travel, when both parents take their child to Spain, both parents also need to sign a minor authorization form.

Important Notice: Suspension of Investors Visa Applications
On 3 January, Organic Law 1/2025 on efficiency measures for the Public Justice Service was published in the Official State Gazette, which in its twenty-first final provision abolishes articles 63 to 67 of Law 14/2013 (Entrepreneurs Law). As of the entry into force of the twenty-first final provision on 3 April, residence visas for investors will be discontinued.

We would like to inform you of a new requirement for those applying for RIC, RIV, RPE, REM, TAC, RIN,
TTI, and RFI visas under the Beijing jurisdiction (Beijing, Jinan, Xian, Wuhan, Shenyang, Chongqing, and

Effective from tomorrow onwards( March 26th 2024) , applicants are requested to submit a criminal record
certificate issued by their country or countries of residence for the past 2 years. Additionally, a
personal responsible declaration will be attached, affirming the absence of criminal records in the past
5 years.
Foreign documents must be legalized or apostilled, and if applicable, must be submitted with an official
translation into Spanish.

countries require a visa to transit through the international area of any airport located in the
territory of the Schengen States in order to take a connecting flight to a country outside the Schengen
area.
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria,
Pakistan, Somalia and Sri Lanka.
In addition, nationals of the following countries require a visa to transit through the international
area of any airport located in Spain in order to take a connecting flight to a country outside the
Schengen area:
Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Cuba, Djibuti, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Haiti, India,
Liberia, Mali, Republic of the Congo, Sierra Leone, Syria, Tayikistán, Togo, Turkey, Uzbekistan y Yemen.
Holders of passports issued by the Palestinian Authority also require a visa.
Nationals of the States included on the foregoing lists do not require an airport transit visa if they
have a Schengen visa, or another type of visa, or a residence card permitting their return, issued by a
Member State of the European Union or of the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, or by Andorra,
Canada, the United States of America, Japan, or San Marino, or by any of the overseas countries and
territories of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, or if they are a diplomatic passport holder, or a family
member of a citizen of the EU or of the EEA, or a flight crew member of a State that is party to the
International Civil Aviation Organization.

Starting from now on, there is no need to make an appointment in advance when applying for a national
visa in the Shanghai Jurisdiction. You can go to the nearest center (Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou)
in the Shanghai Jurisdiction based on your household registration and city of residence to submit your

Here is to inform you that the students who apply for long-term study visa under Beijing Jurisdiction
are requested to collect the passports by visiting Spain Visa Application Center in person. The
courier service, photo service, printing service and photocopy service for long-term study visa
applicants are not provided. In addition, the applicants who apply for D-visa (long-term visa) are
requested to take their passports at 9:00-10:00 am on the working days in the Spain Visa Application

Kindly note that, following the Schengen visa code article 9, the starting date of the trip must be at
least 15 days after the day visa application is submitted. Applicants who are intending to depart
within 15 days or if the departure date is more than six months will also not be accepted.
