BLS International Visa Service Deposit Fee

Applicants applying at the Spanish visa application Centre shall be levied a Visa Service Deposit Fee of 121 CNY payable in cash. Children under 6 are exempted from Visa Service Deposit Fee.

• The applicable Visa Fee in Chinese Yuan is as per the current exchange rate. It is subject to change without notice
• The fee is non-refundable

Documents Required

Insurance for Short Term Visa

Travel Insurance certificate must be submitted at the visa application center as it is a mandatory requirement for applicants travelling to Spain. You may get your travel insurance from any authorized insurance company or you may click below links if you wish to avail this optional service now.

Shanghai VAC

If the applicant wants to apply for business visa in Shanghai/Hangzhou/Nanjing VAC center, and for the first time to apply for a visa to Schengen, also need to provide the following supplementary materials:

• Proof of payment of Individual Income Tax of the last 6 months
• Proof of payment of Social Insurance for the last 6 months

In some cases, additional documents or an interview may be required.

Presenting all the above-mentioned documents does not imply or guarantee that the visa will be granted, but these documents are part of the requirements established by the Spanish legislation on Immigration matters. The final decision lies with the Spanish Consular authorities.

If applicant wants to apply for business visa in our Shanghai or Hangzhou VAC and also, for the first time applying for a visa to Schengen they need to provide the following supplementary materials:

• Proof of payment of Individual Income Tax of the last 6 months
• Proof of payment of Social Insurance for the last 6 months

Consulate General of Spain, Shanghái may require additional information about the applicant in the application form. Consulate will call the applicant if Required for point no. 17 and 20 of the visa application form. If applicant did not answer or attend the call of Consulate. Its hall be deemed that the applicant has ceased the visa application.

The Consulate General of Spain in Shanghai warns visa applicants that all documentation presented will be thoroughly and carefully reviewed. Any false or inaccurate declaration, information or document, as well as any non-existent or canceled hotel or flight reservation, will automatically render their whole application invalid and, consequently, their visas will be refused.

Photo Specifications

GET YOUR PHOTO AS PER STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS BY USING OUR QUICK PHOTO SERVICE AT THE VISA CENTER ITSELF.

The photograph should be in colour and:

• Photos should be taken within the last 6 months and cannot be reused.
• No glasses or accessories are allowed.
• Photos can not be retouched or photoshopped.
• Taken against a light background (white or off-white) so that features are distinguishable and contrast against the background.
• Clear share quality and with the face in focus.
• Printed on normal photographic paper (camera print).
• Full face, non-smiling [without sunglasses, a hat/cap or other head covering, unless the applicant wears such items because of their religious belief or ethnic background]
• Please stick the Photograph on the Visa Application Form.

Note: Please follow these instructions carefully. If photographs presented do not meet these requirements your application will be considered incomplete. A photo booth meeting these requirements is available at the centre..
