We are here to inform you that for the following applicants of national visa: RIC, RIV, RPE, REM, TAC, RIN, TTI, RFI, TEL, it is no longer an essential requirement to have a non-criminal record certificate from the countries where the applicants have resided in the last five years, but the non-criminal record certificate from the countries where he or she has resided in the last two years. In addition, a responsibility statement of non-criminal record for the last five years will be also submitted. And if applicants bring the non-criminal record certificates for the last 5 years, the responsibility statement is not required.

We would like to inform you that for minor applicants, if the application is not submitted along with both of applicants' parents, authorization letter from one side of their parents must be attached, notarized, translated, and apostilled. This requirement is also applicable to parents who are not applying together with their minor children but have previously been issued a visa.

(RESIDENCE VISA FOR TELEWORKING ABROAD) visa application.

We would like to inform you of a new requirement for those applying for RIC, RIV, RPE, REM, TAC, RIN,
TTI, and RFI visas under the Beijing jurisdiction (Beijing, Jinan, Xian, Wuhan, Shenyang, Chongqing, and
Chengdu).
Effective from tomorrow onwards( March 26th 2024) , applicants are requested to submit a criminal record
certificate issued by their country or countries of residence for the past 2 years. Additionally, a
personal responsible declaration will be attached, affirming the absence of criminal records in the past
5 years.
Foreign documents must be legalized or apostilled, and if applicable, must be submitted with an official
translation into Spanish.
We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these new requirements.
With the application volume increasing, we would like to inform you that applicants in the Beijing
Jurisdiction (Beijing, Jinan, Chengdu, Shenyang, Xi'an, Wuhan and Chongqing) are requested to book the

Walk-In Applications for Spain Visa in Beijing Jurisdiction
Dear Applicants,
As per the requirement of Spain Consulate in Shanghai, RES visa (Non-Lucrative Residence)applicants are
required to submit the supporting documents of demonstrating financial ability(bank statement, fixed
deposit, real estate ownership certificate, etc.), which must be translated in Spanish and notarized by
Apostille.
We would like to formally inform you that, effective from 25th January onwards, applicants can now apply
as walk-ins under the Beijing jurisdiction for Spain visa without the need for prior appointments. This
arrangement is applicable for the following locations: Beijing, Jinan, Wuhan, Xi'an, Chengdu, Chongqing,
and Shenyang.
Please take note of the following details:
- Commencement Date:This update is effective from 25th January.
- Eligible Locations: Walk-in applications are accepted in Beijing, Jinan, Wuhan, Xi'an, Chengdu,
Chongqing, and Shenyang.
- Appointment Slots: The appointment slots are free of charge, and applicants can apply anytime
between 08:00 AM to 02:30 PM on working days.
We appreciate your cooperation and encourage you all to make use of this convenient option for visa
applications.

We would like to inform you that for airport transit visas application, nationals of the following
countries require a visa to transit through the international area of any airport located in the
territory of the Schengen States in order to take a connecting flight to a country outside the Schengen
area.
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria,
Pakistan, Somalia and Sri Lanka.
In addition, nationals of the following countries require a visa to transit through the international
area of any airport located in Spain in order to take a connecting flight to a country outside the
Schengen area:
Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Cuba, Djibuti, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Haiti, India,
Liberia, Mali, Republic of the Congo, Sierra Leone, Syria, Tayikistán, Togo, Turkey, Uzbekistan y Yemen.
Holders of passports issued by the Palestinian Authority also require a visa.
Nationals of the States included on the foregoing lists do not require an airport transit visa if they
have a Schengen visa, or another type of visa, or a residence card permitting their return, issued by a
Member State of the European Union or of the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, or by Andorra,
Canada, the United States of America, Japan, or San Marino, or by any of the overseas countries and
territories of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, or if they are a diplomatic passport holder, or a family
member of a citizen of the EU or of the EEA, or a flight crew member of a State that is party to the
International Civil Aviation Organization.
Dear applicant,
Starting from now on, there is no need to make an appointment in advance when applying for a national
visa in the Shanghai Jurisdiction. You can go to the nearest center (Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou)
in the Shanghai Jurisdiction based on your household registration and city of residence to submit your

Here is to inform you that the students who apply for long-term study visa under Beijing Jurisdiction
are requested to collect the passports by visiting Spain Visa Application Center in person. The
courier service, photo service, printing service and photocopy service for long-term study visa
applicants are not provided. In addition, the applicants who apply for D-visa (long-term visa) are
requested to take their passports at 9:00-10:00 am on the working days in the Spain Visa Application

Chengdu) who gave biometrics in 2019 or before are requested to come to Spain Visa Application
Centers to re-do biometrics (fingerprints and live photo) in person. We would like to also inform
you that service fee doesn’t include photograph service (35 Yuan), photo copy (1 Yuan/page),
printing service (5 Yuan/ page) and courier fee (60 Yuan).

Kindly note that, following the Schengen visa code article 9, the starting date of the trip must be at
least 15 days after the day visa application is submitted. Applicants who are intending to depart
within 15 days or if the departure date is more than six months will also not be accepted.

The Service Fee may be refundable subject to the terms herein and provided that the Applicant has paid
for the Services.
The Refund Policy shall be governed by the applicable local laws in the country where the Services are
being provided to the Applicant.
